Mary Forck, age 30 is from Godfrey, IL. She is a graduate of Truman State University with a degree in Agricultural Science emphasizing equine studies.
Mary began riding at age eight and got her start in hunter jumpers. She switched to dressage in high school. During college she interned at Forrest Hill Farm where she assisted in starting young horses and in the breeding program.
After college she returned to FHF where she started a professional career as a dressage trainer and instructor. During that time she started and showed numerous young horses as well as showing through 4th level. While at FHF, she cliniced with Christopher Hickey on a regular basis.
After two and a half years at FHF, Mary moved to Kansas City where she began training at Landers Farms. Since arriving at Landers she has had the privilege of working with Michael Beining on a regular basis. She has embraced the German style of training and firmly believes in its system.
In April she had the privilege of traveling to Germany with Linda Landers and her daughter, Sara McConnell. They spent eight days trying horses and seeing as many barns as possible. The trip was an invaluable experience for Mary and deepened her adminration for the German system.
Mary has earned many awards and achievements in dressage since starting her career as a dressage professional.
